Life

What, according to you is life? What does "living life to the fullest" suggests to you or how can you make life spontaneous? According to each individual, the answers may vary depending on the way you lead your life or the way society demands you to live your life, or, for some of us, these questions put forth may never be answered.

Not inclined to point out the possible answers since we all have it in mind, but, in a Christian perspective, we might all answer it as "To live for God and God alone." But, that's not what we are all inclined to. But life, no matter what it is, or no matter how much you define it, it is precious. Let alone, life is a blessing and all the other things we achieve is an addition.
A friend introduced me to an actor, whose works and plays I was familiar with, Robin William. This guy, though diagnosed to have a mental instability, provides us with all the good and strong words about life, how to live it and how to make it more spontaneous.

We may have gone through so many things in our life to become what we are today. When we were nothing but a child, our dream was to grow older and have jobs, our elders were our idols. And as time goes by, we reach that certain age where we realise that adulthood was nothing but responsibilities and about missing the good old days when our biggest worry was about watching cartoons or maybe play with our friends.

But, we can't just stop time and choose not to grow old. So, we gradually learn to accept life as it is and bitter as it my be, we gradually learn to embrace the bitterness. But life is so much more than just growing old or being mature. Life is so much more than just having jobs or a family to feed.

To me, "living life to the fullest" was all about reading, watching movies, listening to songs and have good grades and probably get a decent job and finally to get it together. Many of my folks would find this really boring and dull but it was my ideal type of life. The life I chose to live till someday Peter Pan would take me away. This was my happily ever after, to get a decent job and live my life in peace. Having to deal with issues, or even emotions were my biggest fear, just like the warlock in "The Tales of Beedle the Bard", I try shunning all the things that could make me fragile or feeble. But, life is not about shunning our fears out, life is about trying hard to overcome them so that I can finally enjoy the beauty of those emotions and issues.

Life, a lovely, surprising gift we all got. Until this day, I still couldn't find the answer to these questions on what is life or how to live life to the fullest. But, this is what I know, there will always be a new way to enjoy life. There can never be an end to this until you take your last breath, embrace it while you have. And one day, just like I did, you may come across a time in life when you personally ask these questions to yourselves, and when the time comes, I hope you can smile and know who to turn to.
